CAMH researchers are conducting a study to examine the effects of a new medication on responses to alcohol. We are recruiting participants who consume alcohol daily or almost daily. This research will further our understanding of the effects of this medication and may inform future treatment options for individuals with alcohol use disorder.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are between the ages of 19-65
- Drink regularly (consume alcohol at least several times per week)
- Are NOT seeking treatment for alcohol use disorder
Participants will be asked to take study medication and attend onsite study visits, some of which will involve alcohol administration. Availability to attend weekday appointments is required. The total duration of participation is up to 4-5 weeks. Participants will be compensated for their time.
