The inaugural CAMH SIMposium of Minds is a one-day hybrid event hosted by the CAMH Simulation Centre. It brings together health care professionals, educators, researchers and innovators to explore the future of simulation and digital innovation in mental health education.
Join us for a thought-provoking keynote, a dynamic panel discussion, hands-on workshops, poster presentations, rapid-fire talks and networking opportunities, including an evening reception.
The keynote address and the panel discussion will be offered as hybrid events (in person and virtual). All hybrid events will be held in the morning and end at 12:30 p.m. Afternoon workshops will be in person only.

Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health: Perspectives on Teaching and Learning
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Tristan Glatard, scientific director of the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics, inaugural BMO Chair in AI and Mental Health, and senior scientist at CAMH who will discuss artificial intelligence in mental health and its impact on teaching and learning. His talk will outline fundamentals of AI models, key applications of AI in mental health, the role of AI in health care education and ethical and societal impacts of AI.

Join leading voices in neuroinformatics, medical anthropology, clinical education and bioethics to discuss how AI-powered interventions and simulation can transform mental health training and care. Learn how ethical and inclusive simulation platforms can advance training for the compassionate care of diverse mental health populations.
Moderated by Dr. Sanjeev Socklingam, senior vice president, Education; chief medical officer; and senior scientist, CAMH.
