Need to find journal articles on addictions, but don’t know where to start? Start by searching PubMed/Medline! Here are some quick tips on starting a search in PubMed/Medline for addictions info:
Substance-Related Disorders is the catch all MeSH term for disorders caused by substance abuse. Use this MeSH term to search for research on drug dependence, drug addiction, drug abuse, drug habituation.
Need a more focused search? Try searching the MeSH terms:

• Inhalant Abuse
• Marijuana Abuse
• Opioid-Related Disorders
• Heroin Dependence
• Tobacco Use Disorder
