Dr. Ishrat Husain is a senior scientist and Institute Director of the Precision Mental Health Institute, and lead of the Mood Disorders Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Dr. Husain is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and holds the Cameron Wilson Chair in Depression Studies.
Areas of Research
Dr. Husain's research program focusses on advancing the understanding and treatment of mood disorders across populations through clinical trials of emerging pharmacological and psychosocial interventions.
