We are looking for participants for an online study investigating the link between cannabis use and depression.
Our research group is interested in investigating how the experience of depression may differ in individuals who are currently depressed and are regular users of cannabis, compared to individuals who are currently depressed and do not use cannabis.
Eligible participants will complete the following study components:
- Initial assessment, including an interview over videoconference and an initial online survey
- Four follow-up online surveys and two brief follow-up calls over a two-month period
You may be eligible if you:
- Are between 18-65 years of age
- Are not a smoker
- Are currently depressed
- Use cannabis very regularly OR do not use cannabis (never used cannabis or have used it only minimally in the past)
- Are not experiencing difficulties with any street or recreational drugs (other than possibly cannabis)
You will receive compensation for your participation.
