What is the purpose of the study?
We want to know how the experience of emotions contributes to overall mental health. Our experience of emotions is a very important aspect of life. Research shows that our emotions can be affected by life circumstances, mental health, cognitive health, physical health, and our genetics. It is important to better understand the predictors of emotional health in people with and without mental health difficulties so that emotionally sensitive treatments can be developed in the future.
