Program Overview
CAMH’s Geriatric Mental Health Outpatient Services provide specialized, multidisciplinary assessment, consultation, treatment, and follow-up for adults with complex psychiatric, cognitive, neurological, and substance use concerns. Services span geriatric psychiatry, late-life mood disorders, memory and neurocognitive conditions, neuropsychiatric disorders, and co-occurring substance use and age-related concerns.
Care may include medication management, psychotherapy, cognitive interventions, diagnostic clarification, caregiver support, community resources, and research opportunities. Referrals require a physician completed CAMH referral form, with eligibility varying by clinic. The program emphasizes integrated, evidence-based care tailored to the complex medical and mental health needs of older adults.
