Monica Bettazzoni is Senior Vice President, Clinical Care at CAMH and is responsible for the delivery of clinical programs and services at CAMH. She is a result-oriented leader who brings passion for delivering integrated, compassionate, high-quality care. Monica brings extensive healthcare leadership experience, leading significant quality improvement initiatives within the acute care sector and overseeing diverse teams including mental health, emergency, maternal newborn, medicine, surgery, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging and laboratory medicine.
Monica joined CAMH in 2025 following 14 years at Halton Healthcare where she was most recently Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, Monica worked at CAMH in a variety of progressive leadership and clinical roles. She has also served on a variety of regional committees and Boards.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy) from the University of Manitoba, and a Master’s Degree and a PhD from the University of Toronto. She holds a Lean Health Care Green Belt and advanced leadership certificate from the Rotman School of Management.
