Partying and Getting Drunk

A new public information brochure for youth

Many young people regard drinking to get drunk as a laugh and are not aware that binge drinking has some real dangers that are no fun at all.

This brochure presents the facts without preaching. It explains what binge drinking is, how it affects you and what the risks are. It lists the signs of alcohol poisoning and shows how you can help to ensure the safety of someone who has passed out from drinking too much. Importantly, the brochure also provides a list of 10 tips on how to be safer when you drink.

Binge drinking is widespread among youth. This brochure presents clear and concise information to help youth think about what drinking can lead to, and to help them avoid problems before they happen.
