Our work is transforming the lives of transition-aged youth
Our Stories
Seeing my treatment team soon after my symptoms started was so important. I got better quickly. It was a big struggle early on, but with the right combination of treatments I started feeling like myself again. I was able to get back to living life.

Getting consistent specialized care makes a difference. From the first meeting with the treatment team, to the clear discharge plan at the end of my star, it all mattered. I also know that my doctor prescribed my medications using an evidence-based approach. It felt great to hear that there was a clear plan the whole way through my treatment.

In other areas of medicine, people jump at the opportunity to be a part of new treatment studies, because they know that is the only way things can improve for the future. Why should mental health be any different? I participated in a treatment study to improve my ability to plan and stay organized, and to function better in the community. It helped me, but I was also happy to know that through my participation I will be helping other people in the future.
We look forward to working with you
