CAMH offers a variety of health and wellness events and resources.
Trainee projects vary according to laboratory research interests. Research projects can involve wet-lab experiments, clinical trials, qualitative participant projects and/or dry-lab research.
For more information, see the various work done at CAMH research institutes and centres.
The Koerner Centre offers events through CAMH-wide emails and newsletters. If you have specific questions about getting involved with the centre, email the Research Coordinator, Dr. Esha Jain, at Esha.Jain@camh.ca, or the Director of Research Training, Dr. Lena Quilty, at Lena.Quilty@camh.ca.
Our trainees have various goals and aspirations. Some trainees renew their contracts to continue in the research field, some progress into full-time research-related positions at CAMH, some progress into research-scientist positions, and some pursue further education. Regardless of the path taken, the research training and resources offered through CAMH and the Koerner Centre for Research Training equip trainees with the transferable skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their career paths.
As part of the application process, you will need to connect with a supervisor in your area of interest, who can support you through the application process. You can find more information about applying as a research trainee here.
