Policy

Policies are a powerful tool for preventing and reducing mental health and substance use problems. CAMH scientists helped produce a major award-winning book on alcohol policy, now in its second edition, Alcohol No ordinary Commodity, and partner book Drug Policy and the Public Good.

Researchers in this group also assess how well current programs, public policy and legislation are working to prevent and reduce problems related to mental health, alcohol use, drug use and gambling. It also looks at the impact of government policy and legislation.
