The Admitting Department deals primarily with inpatient admissions. Admitting staff ensure that complete and accurate client/patient information is collected and recorded. This is a requirement of the Government, and is also used in compiling statistical information and for billing purposes. Confidentiality of all clients/patients Personal Health Information is respected at all times.

Outpatient admissions are the responsibility of the programs that are providing service to the client/patient.

Referral Required: Yes, for Addiction; yes for Mental Health, although there is also an Mental Health Emergency Service located at the College Street site.
