Canadian Patient Safety Week (November 1-5) is an annual event sponsored by Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) to keep the issue of patient safety at the forefront in Canada, while at the same time aiming to share information about best practices with healthcare providers, patients and their families. This year’s theme – Ask. Listen. Talk. – promotes the importance of communication between and among patients, clients, consumers and providers and applies to all healthcare settings and sectors.

At CAMH safety is our priority, and we have a number of initiatives that fit well into this year’s theme.
