Local Business Improvement Association donates to LEARN
The St. Clair Gardens Business Improvement Association (BIA) recently donated a portion of its Annual Cornfest to CAMH’s LEARN program (Learning Education Advocacy Recreation Network).
“It’s an annual tradition for the BIA to donate to a different community service. Local BIA members approached LEARN with
their interest in donating a portion of the proceeds from the Cornfest to us,” said Jennifer Kim, Employment Specialist at LEARN, which works to integrate clients who have had a first episode of psychosis into community
life through social, educational and vocational opportunities.

In turn, LEARN staff and volunteers set up a booth at the Annual Cornfest on Saturday, September 22, 2007.Throughout the day,
staff members from LEARN responded to questions from community members regarding LEARN, CAMH, and mental health. “LEARN staff
are grateful to the BIA and excited to have brought more exposure to the program, first episode, CAMH, and mental health issues!”
exclaimed Kim.
