Full Event Description

Clara Hughes

She’s going the distance . . . And we want YOU to be there to cheer her on!

On Friday, March 14, 2014 roughly 150 cyclists will descend on CAMH’s Queen Street site to kick-off Clara’s Big Ride for “Bell Let’s Talk,” an initiative that will see “Bell Let's Talk" national spokesperson and six-time Olympian Clara Hughes cycle across Canada, over the course of 110 days and 12,000 kilometres, to inspire Canadians to lead the mental health conversation in their own communities.

In celebration of Clara’s inspiring journey, we’re inviting the CAMH Community to join volunteers from Bell Canada along 100 Stokes Street at 1:00 PM on March 14 to cheer Clara on as she cycles—rain, snow, sleet or shine—through the Queen Street
campus with 150 cyclists by her side.

Bell-branded toques and thundersticks will be provided!

We really hope to see you there to show your support as Clara mobilizes Canadians in a grassroots initiative to build awareness, increase acceptance and take action on mental illness at home, at school and around the boardroom table.
