A key component of this Strategic Plan is Strategic Direction 5 – Revolutionize Education and Knowledge Exchange, whereby CAMH will create an Education Strategy for evolving into a true mental health learning organization, where teaching and learning permeate all aspects of our work. 

The Education Strategy also calls for CAMH to develop the structures and leadership to achieve best practices within a learning organization, and to develop mental illness and addiction education research and scholarship. 

At the same time, CAMH is committed to expanding its capacity to educate beyond healthcare professionals to clients, families, the healthcare system as a whole and the general public.​
