Description

This eight-week online course is a training companion for the publication Youth & Drugs and Mental Health: A Resource for Professionals. The course focuses on key aspects of an integrated approach to treatment of concurrent mental health and substance use problems among youth. 

 

At the end of this course, you will be able to

• describe adolescent development and other risk and protective factors associated with substance and mental health problems in youth
• identify substance use, mental health issues and concurrent disorders in youth
• apply appropriate treatment approaches effective for youth with substance and mental health problems
