The Addiction Research Foundation: A Voyage of Discovery

H. David Archibald, founding Director of the Addiction Research Foundation (now a part of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health), died in Toronto on July 12, 2009. He played an outstanding role in the addictions field, not only in Canada but internationally, as an advisor to the World Health Organization, the North American Association of Alcoholism Programs, the United Nations and the international Council on Alcoholism and Addictions.
