As part of the No One Left Behind campaign, we are proud to highlight some of the ways CAMH is providing leadership in addictions by delivering evidence-based treatments, and inspiring hope through innovative research.

What is research training at CAMH?

CAMH is committed to training the next generation of mental health researchers. There are approximately 400 registered research trainees at any given time across undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels. A team of experts registers and onboards trainees, delivers mandatory training, cultivates a community of learning, and equips trainees with the knowledge and skills required to be global leaders in mental health and addictions research.

What is unique about CAMH’s approach to addictions research training?

CAMH is unique in the breadth of its scientific exploration, conducting population and community health, clinical and neuroscience research all at the same institution. This diversity in research and focus on team science gives trainees the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines to advance discovery and improve treatment for addictions.
