Dr. Pushpal Desarkar is a Clinician Researcher with the Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention. Dr. Desarkar is also a Clinician with the Dual Diagnosis Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry with the Faculty of Medicine, Department of
Psychiatry at University of Toronto.
Areas of Research
As a Clinician Scientist, Dr. Desarker is mainly interested in obtaining new knowledge
with regard to neurophysiology in neuropsychiatric disorders, especially
Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Schizophrenia, across the life span.
