The Addiction Clinical Consultation Service (ACCS) is designed to serve Health and Social Service professionals including physicians, nurses, psychologists, occupational health staff, social workers, correctional staff, addiction workers and others who care for clients who have alcohol and drug problems. The ACCS team includes experienced clinicians from medical, psychosocial and pharmacy areas. The Addiction Clinical Consultation Service is not designed to deal with health emergencies. - medical complications of drug and alcohol use
- management of clients with addiction problems
- counselling for individuals, couples and families
- alcohol, tobacco and illicit drugs, prescription and over-the-counter drugs
- drug interactions
- concurrent disorders
