Video: Cannabis Use From A Young Adult's Perspective

TORONTO, November 16, 2016 - Young Canadians use cannabis at a higher rate than in most countries. In fact, in 2015, two per cent of Ontario students in grades 7 to 12 – an estimated 20,000 youth – report using cannabis daily. 21 per cent report using cannabis in the past year.

CAMH’s Dr. Susan Mackenzie, Staff Psychiatrist and Medical Head Child, Youth and Family Service, and Dr. Joanna Henderson, Director, Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth and Family Mental Health, offer their expertise as CAMHTV profiles a young man who describes his cannabis use and how it relates to his depression and anxiety.
