Learning Objectives

The learning objectives of the curriculum are for residents to be able to

  1. recognize and respect the diversity of recovery journeys
  2. identify the impact of prejudice, discrimination, poverty and social exclusion on recovery
  3. integrate natural and peer supports, supported employment and supported housing into their practice
  4. critically examine the extent to which mental health and addiction services support hope, dignity, empowerment, choice and positive risk-taking
