Culturally informed and evidence-based education and training
Workforce development provides education and training to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis service providers across Ontario who work in mental health, justice, and education. Community support specialists develop and facilitate culturally informed training curriculums which are based on community needs. Training curriculums are co-designed and informed by indigenous community members, people with lived experience, as well as Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
All available trainings are accredited by the Indigenous Certification Board of Canada.
