The Aboriginal Service provides outpatient groups and individual counselling to Aboriginal people experiencing substance use and mental health issues, as well as supporting clients who are in CAMH inpatient programs. The treatment team includes Social Workers and an Elder/Traditional healer, as well as access to psychiatry. Cultural programming and ceremonies are offered as part of a holistic approach to care. CAMH has an onsite Sweat Lodge which can be utilized as part of a client’s treatment plan.

To access the service please contact Access CAMH, the centralized intake service at CAMH. Access CAMH ensures the right patient gets to the right place at the right time. This service will also answer calls live Monday to Friday during business hours.
