A study by
researchers at CAMH and Women’s College Hospital, published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, has found that
women in cities are at higher risk of postpartum depression.
Dr. Lori Ross,
CAMH Scientist and Senior Investigator on the study found women in
urban areas are less likely to receive the same levels of social support during
pregnancy as women in more rural areas.
