in her 50s, she nevertheless works successfully at a full-time job.

D’Cruz, diagnosed with chronic schizophrenia, has several part-time
jobs that give her an income, a structured routine and self-esteem.
Both
work for not-for-profit organizations that exist to support people with
mental illness. And both organizations make significant accommodations
for their employees with mental illness.
