CAMH – A RNAO Best Practice Spotlight Organization

BPSO stands for Best Practice Spotlight Organization, the designation awarded by the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) upon successful implementation, evaluation and knowledge translation of established Best Practice Guidelines.

CAMH  launched the three-year BPSO candidacy journey, branded as “Becoming BPSO: Step into the Spotlight” in 2013. We will achieve our designation by successfully implementing and evaluating eight Best Practice Guidelines by March 2015.

Our Executive Sponsor for the initiative is Rani Srivastava, Chief of Nursing and Professional Practice with the support of the Professional Practice Office.

Our Eight Best Practice Guidelines:

  • Enhancing Healthy Adolescent Development

  • We would like to thank all of the BPSO Work Group Leads, their teams and our BPSO Champions for their extraordinary efforts in implementing the Best Practice Guidelines into practice.
