Konrad is a part-time Commercialization Consultant with the Industry Partnerships and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO) at CAMH.
Konrad Powell-Jones brings a strong scientific foundation and extensive sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry. At the CAMH IPTTO, he is drawing on experience gained in his 20 years in the academic technology transfer environment in his roles as a biotechnology licensing manager, at the University of Toronto Innovations Foundation, Mount Sinai Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children. He also has experience in negotiating clinical trial agreements, research contracts and other related agreements, on behalf of CAMH since 2001, and has acted as a contracts consultant for some of the University of Toronto affiliated hospitals.
Mr. Powell-Jones is active in regional and national biotechnology associations and continues to be involved in the development of many biotechnology and technology transfer initiatives.
Konrad holds a BSc, with a major in pharmacology, from the University of Saskatchewan.
