Medication Assessment Program for Schizophrenia (MAPS)

CAMH's Medication Assessment Program for Schizophrenia (MAPS) offers out-patient consultation services for individuals whose antipsychotic medication therapy is sub-optimal.

MAPS provides specialized evaluations for partial response or treatment resistance for individuals with Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective disorder, and antipsychotic related side effects, such as movement disorders, regardless of diagnosis. This service also includes a clozapine clinic.

How to access services at the Medication Assessment Program for Schizophrenia (MAPS):

  • Have your family doctor or psychiatrist fax the CAMH referral form to Access CAMH at (416) 979-6815. 
  • A pharmacy generated medication history or historical medication history AND a psychiatric history including personal/family and personal medical history is required at time of referral.
