Danielle Donadio is Vice President, Communications and Brand at CAMH Foundation. She considers mental health an issue that is both deeply personal and the most pressing public health challenge of our time. Danielle has been a driving force in strategically communicating CAMH’s national success and global leadership, and developing the vision for its compelling new brand. She leads a team of professionals in creating new opportunities for dialogue and engagement by Canadians around mental health.
Danielle has taken a social activist approach to her career, applying her marketing and communications skills to drive change in politics and health care. Danielle worked as Director of Public Affairs & Development with the Liberal Party of Canada, before moving to the health care sector to lead stakeholder relations at GlaxoSmithKline and the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP).
Danielle also served as Chief, Communications & Public Affairs at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare. She led the creation of the new brand and profile for the organization, overseeing communications through Bridgepoint’s successful merger with Mount Sinai Hospital.
