Susan Caskey was a Senior Lawyer at Wortzman Nickle Professional Corporation—Canada’s first boutique electronic discovery (“e-discovery”) law firm. Previously, Ms. Caskey worked as In-House Counsel for Trader Media Corporation, one of Canada’s largest media companies. Prior to that, she practiced law as a Partner at Stockwood Spies, a boutique commercial litigation firm.
Ms. Caskey has been a member of the CAMH Foundation Board of Directors since March 2014. She is also a member of the CAMH Research Committee. Ms. Caskey is co-chair of the Hot Docs 30 Board, and is a member of the Capital Campaign Committee at Hot Docs, a Canadian charity that supports and promotes documentary films. She is also co-chair of the Middlebury College Parents' Fund Committee, and is a member of the Neuchatel Junior College Patrons' Council.
Ms. Caskey sits on the Management Committee of Partners in Art (PIA), a not-for-profit organization that supports and promotes contemporary visual arts in Canada through fundraising and education. She is also a Founding Member, Past Chair and former Board Member of PIA.
Ms. Caskey holds a bachelor of laws from the University of Ottawa (Common Law in French) and a bachelor of arts (honours BA) from the University of Western Ontario. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association.
Susan and her husband John Francis have three children (21, 20 and 18 years) and are supporters of many organizations including CAMH, SickKids, Hot Docs, as well as several educational institutions. Susan loves tennis, golf (when playing well), skiing and road biking.
