The Downtown East Clinic at 393 King Street East is closed following a major watermain break at Parliament Street and Front Street on October 17.
The watermain break caused flooding to the clinic, which provides coordinated and comprehensive treatment programs for people who have chronic Schizophrenia or related disorders and are living in the east end community.
It is expected the Downtown East Clinic will be closed for a few weeks to allow for repairs.
In the meantime, some community group programming will be moving to St Jude Community Homes, 31 Dundas Street, East. Client assessments and physician interviews are taking place at CAMH’s Downtown Central Clinic at 10 White Squirrel Way.
We would like to thank all clients, staff and physicians for their patience at this time, and to St. Jude’s for their support, allowing us to continue our client programming.
