CAMH is the largest academic health sciences centre in Canada focusing on mental illness and addiction. Our research investigates the causes, treatments and prevention of mental illness and addiction at all life stages—from childhood and adolescence, when symptoms of illness most commonly appear, through to adulthood and into old age, when brain-related illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease emerge.
