Your Experiences Matter
The CAMH Research Registry is a centralized, secure database used to connect people interested in participating in research with all researchers and studies at CAMH. When you join the registry, you may be contacted if there are studies seeking participants.
Why participate in research? Have you ever wondered how new treatments are developed—or even how we gather clues to understanding why someone has a mental health or addiction problem? It is thanks to people who volunteer to participate in research studies.
We value learning about your experiences. There are benefits to participating. It is an opportunity for you to be involved in important and cutting edge research. With your help, we might gain new insights into issues that may be important to you and others who share similar experiences.
We encourage you to Make Your Experiences Matter by joining the registry. Your membership in the CAMH Research Registry and participation in any study at CAMH is voluntary. You can withdraw from a study or end membership in the registry at any time without affecting ongoing or future care at CAMH.
Contact the CAMH research registry co-ordinator to find out more about the registry or to join.
