Clinical Translational Labs
are the interface between lab-based research and the application of these findings into optimal clinical care.
Among the labs doing research in this area are:
The
Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention
conducts research on the use of non-invasive magnetic stimulation to treat psychiatric disorders.
CAMH's
Pharmacogenetics Program
studies the use of patients' genetic make-up to predict their response to psychiatric medications, with the goal of personalizing medication treatment.
The
Translational Addiction Research Lab
investigates the
treatment and understanding of drug addiction, by linking discovery in basic science to clinical applications.
