The following are outcomes, created by family members and staff, that all clinical programs are striving towards in the area
of providing professional services to families.
Outcome 1:
The team offers a wide variety of flexible professional services targeted to the individual needs of families or works with
other teams and programs to ensure that these services are available to families (eg., individual, group or couple counseling;
psychoeducation; psychotherapy; education about health promotion, mental illness and addiction).
Outcome 2:
Staff members are competent and follow best practices when providing professional services for families.
Outcome 3:
The team offers professional services for families, even if their relative with a substance use and/or mental health problem
is not connected to CAMH, or collaborate with other teams and programs to ensure that the family can access service.
