School Program – TDSB High School (TDSS Classroom)

This is a Section 23 Toronto District School Board (TDSB) academic day school program which offers clients under 21 the opportunity to earn high school credits. The program offers continuous intake throughout the school year. Clients must be under the care of a psychiatrist. Case management is an essential element for client success. Both CAMH clients and clients in treatment with community agencies can apply to this program.

The program is geared specifically to the needs of individuals with mental health challenges. Subjects taught by two TDSB teachers include English, Literacy, Math, Science, Visual Art, Drama, Phys Ed, and Learning Strategies. This classroom of the Toronto District Secondary School (TDSS) operates from September to June, 4.5 days per week, and follows the TDSB calendar.
