An Addictions and Concurrent Disorder outpatient treatment service for adults with moderate to severe alcohol and/or substance dependence and mild to moderate mental health challenges.
We provide treatment in a three phase approach.
Phase 1 (support and stabilization group) – offered twice weekly, this group focuses on increasing motivation for change and prepares clients for Phase 2.
Phase 2 (intensive programming) - offered as a 12 week outpatient group that meets twice weekly. During this time, interdisciplinary staff offer treatment though goal planning, relapse prevention and psycho-education in group sessions.
Treatment focuses on problem identification, coping, skills development and maintaining a healthy lifestyle within a harm reduction framework.
Phase 3 (continuing care group) – offered weekly up to a year upon completion of Phase 2. This group supports recovery and community integration.
