Resilience is a much-talked about topic these days. Many people want to better understand what resilience is, how it is related to the healthy development of children and youth, what they can do to strengthen resilience in the young people in their lives – and how they can make their communities the kind that support and facilitate the healthy development of all its members.

Key note address by Dr. Tatyana Barankin, CAMH psychiatrist and co-author of the book, Growing Up Resilient: Ways to Build Resilience in Children and Youth, followed by youth-produced video from the Regent Park Focus Youth Media Arts Centre program, and a panel discussion featuring experts from CAMH and the local community
