Full Event Description

Aboriginal people experience significant inequities in health determinants and status compared to non Aboriginal people in Canada, including inequities in access to health care services. In recognition of these gaps, many hospitals in Ontario are planning or have already implemented outreach and support programs for Aboriginal clients, their families and communities. There is growing literature on best practices with respect to partnering with Aboriginal organizations and communities.
