Placement availability varies depending upon the time of year.
Am I able to do a block placement?
Yes - students are able to do block placements.
Am I able to do my placement hours in the evenings/weekends because I work?
This is not an option for pharmacy assistant students.
What qualifications are required for placement in the pharmacy discipline?
Enrollment in a recognized pharmacy assistant program in a community college is required.
Is CAMH affiliated with my educational institution?
Not in all cases. Interested students should contact their community college coordinator.
How are placements organized?
All placements are coordinated with a recognized community college program coordinator and CAMH Pharmacy.
What mandatory trainings are required prior to placement?
Enrollment in a recognized pharmacy assistant program in a community college is required.
Do I require any immunizations before coming to CAMH?
All students are required to have a Mask Fit and 2-step TB test.
