The CAMH Bill of Client Rights DVD

Understanding the rights of people who use mental health and addiction services
Produced by the Empowerment Council and the CAMH Client Relations Office
With French sub-titles

See what happens in different scenarios involving a client as she navigates the psychiatric system. Each scene dramatizes a positive and negative outcome of a woman who is trying to assert a particular client right.

Based on the CAMH Bill of Client Rights, this DVD and the enclosed booklet are designed to promote thinking and discussion about the civil rights of people who use mental health and addiction services in Ontario.

In addition to clients who use psychiatric or addiction services, this DVD and discussion guide will be of interest to mental health and disability rights advocates, service providers, students, and hospital and agency administrators who want to develop a bill of rights for their own organization.
