Awareness will help some people, I couldn't guess at the percentage though. Personally, its only after a woman called me names and shook her fist at me that I realized (as a very new driver) how obnoxious I was being. I used to cut in front of people just in front of having to stop at a red light. I didn't realize they may perceive this as hostile, like butting in in line essentially, but with a lot more danger involved. I thanked her for letting me know, which confused her and then she swore some more, but I never forgot her. I know use the GO train, so much better than driving! Subways are desperately needed-not above ground, look how well that worked out on the RT line (no one uses it).
