Strategic Planning at CAMH

At CAMH we Care, Discover, Build and Share to transform lives.

As Canada’s largest addiction and mental health teaching hospital, CAMH uniquely combines clinical care, research, policy, education and health promotion expertise. We see ourselves as part of a broader health system and recognize the importance of working in partnership to help build a system that best meets the needs of people impacted by mental illness and addiction.

CAMH’s current Strategic Plan 2009-2012 builds on CAMH’s existing Mission, Vision, and Goals, with additional Values and five new Strategic Directions to help sharpen the focus of our work.

The current plan was the result of a year-long renewal process wherein we consulted broadly with stakeholders and were guided by their feedback and an assessment of the healthcare and economic landscape.

We are confident that, by working together, we can help build stronger and healthier communities and improve the lives of those affected by addiction and mental health problems.
